This will be a gentle yoga/meditation session called Listen to your Body. Expect to move, stretch, breathe, and restore – providing a chance to calm down the nervous system during uncertain times. No previous yoga experience is required.

About Listen to your Body:
This session will begin with a meditation to help balance you into the present moment and tap into your internal world. The instructor will guide you through a set of poses and will help quiet the mind, so you can listen to where your body needs you to go to release your physical and emotional tension. Each class has approximately eight poses. It is for all levels – anyone with a body is welcomed to participate. It is not difficult. You move to your desired pace and you are fully in control. The session will end with breathing exercises (pranayama) to help you relax and calm anxiety.
What should you bring?
All you need is some floor space and comfy clothes.
This is a free or donation-based session, depending on your means. If you can attend, please consider offering a little donation to CMHA-Sudbury/Manitoulin. The suggested donation amount for this virtual yoga session is $10.
